OFC, since 2006, has been hosting the IATA Fuel Quality Pool (IFQP) Airfield Inspector Training (Basic and Refresher courses) in its facilities located at Athens International Airport.
In 2012, from April 23 to April 26, the IFQP course took place in our new Training Center, with the participation of 20 members of the international aviation community. The Trainers, Mr. Peter Westhphal of Lufthansa and Mr. Seth Dillon of Delta Airlines, together with the specialized OFC Team, have guided the trainees through an extensive training course, consisting of both theoretical and practical sessions based on fuel quality controls, safety fuelling procedures, maintenance of fuelling facilities and familiarization with the Checklist and procedures for Inspections.
On the closing day all trainees passed the written examinations and were awarded with a Training Certificate.

OFC Aviation Fuel Services SA, has been awarded by the Athens International Airport (AIA) Company, in 1998, for the design, financing, construction and operation of the receiving, storage and distribution via Hydrant Refueling System of aviation fuel facilities for a concession period of 23 years.
