Project Description: Design Review & Technical services for the construction of Helicopter fuelling facility in compliance with JIG 4 (Aviation Fuel Quality Control & Operating Standards for Smaller Airports).

  • Detailed Design (DD) review for the complete project including drawings, equipment & facilities and Material Take off (MTO).
  • Assessment of construction of the new Helicopter fuelling facility to evaluate compliance with international standards (JIG 4 publication)
  • Technical services to confirm safe and efficient filling, flushing and commissioning of fuelling facilities, including the development of method statement.

On site wet commissioning and training of fuel farm operators on all aspects of fuel handling and filtration including Helicopter refuelling.

Project Description: Extension of existing Fuel Farm with additional 36,000 m3

tankage (4 tanks of 9.000m3 each) and new Fuel Farm of 90.000 m3 tankage (6 tanks of 15.000m3 each), new fuel hydrant system serving new terminal, new pipelines (20’’ and 24’’ each) to transfer JET A-1 from the refineries, to the above both Fuel Farms and interconnection of outlet lines of both Fuel Farms so to serve all hydrant systems.

Ultimate objective: to ensure Jet A-1 fuel safely received, stored and dispensed for aircraft fueling in full compliance with Industry Standards

  • Development of method statement (MS) for Fuel Farms and hydrant facilities for filling, soak testing, flushing and commissioning.

The MS developed in full compliance with the JIG 2 Standards - Aviation Fuel Quality Control and Operating Standards for Airport Depots and Hydrants, Issue 13, September 2021, along with all Energy Institute (EI) related Standards, Equipment performance specifications and Recommended Practices (e.g. EI/JIG 1530, EI 1540, EI 1550, EI 1560, EI 1585, etc).

  • On site wet commissioning and training of fuel Farm operators on all aspects of fuel handling and filtration as per JIG Standards.

Project Description: Fuel farm (80,000 m3) with connection to new receiving pipeline and fuel hydrant system serving new terminal

  • Assessment of construction of the new JED fuel farm to evaluate compliance with international standards (JIG and EI relevant publications) and technical services to confirm safe and efficient filling, flushing and commissioning of fueling facilities
  • Ultimate objective: to ensure Jet A-1 fuel safely received, stored and dispensed for aircraft fueling in full compliance with industry standards
  • Development of method statement for fuel farm facilities filling, soak testing and commissioning
  • On site wet commissioning and training of fuel farm operators on all aspects of fuel handling and filtration

  • Drafted tender details and business model (business plan mechanism and related parameters) and bidders’ evaluation criteria for concession of fuel facilities

  • Drafted BOT tender details and business model (business plan mechanism and related parameters) and developed the bidders’ evaluation criteria for the fuel concession agreement of aviation fuel facilities
  •  Evaluated bidders for BOT of aviation fuel facilities

Description: Design, finance, build and operation of the Aircraft Hydrant Refueling System (HRS) and fuel farm via a long-term concession agreement

  • Construction and operation of fuel hydrant system (124 fuel pits) and tank farm, connected to local refinery via a 53km privately owned JET A-1 dedicated pipeline
  • Operation of the fuel farm and HRS, ensuring uninterrupted supply to airlines in full compliance with int’l fuel quality control and operating standards (Joint Inspection Group - JIG)
